Puuunch vs Agendrix
Agendrix is a Quebec company, like us, and its entry plan is cheaper — because it isn’t the same product. Agendrix builds schedules for shift staff and verifies who turned up; Puuunch is a timesheet for project work. Their $3.25 plan holds no time tracking at all: with the module that adds it you reach $5.50 a person — exactly our price, with projects included.
Agendrix details read on 9 September 2026, from agendrix.com.

So which one should you choose?
Two Quebec products that do not solve the same problem. Which one you need is decided by your problem, not by the sticker.
Choose Puuunch if
- You bill work by project or by client, and you want to know where the time went.
- Nobody works shifts where you are, so a schedule builder would go unopened.
- You want the timesheet to be the product, not an add-on to it.
- You would rather no photograph and no location were taken when someone logs hours.
- You want hours by project: the Resources module’s flat $59 lands heavily, and hardest on a small team.
Choose Agendrix if
- You build schedules — a restaurant, a shop, a retirement home, a hotel.
- You need a punch clock at the door, on a tablet, and to know who turned up.
- You need HR records, premium pay, surveys, payroll integration.
- You don’t need hours by project: their Essential plan at $3.25, or Plus at $5.25, costs less than anything we sell.
If you build schedules, take Agendrix — we are not competing for that work and never will be. But if your team doesn’t work shifts, most of what you would be paying for is a schedule builder nobody will open, and the time tracking you came for arrives as an add-on — at the same per-seat price as Puuunch, projects not included.
What it actually costs
The sticker price is for scheduling. Here is what has to be added to get what a project timesheet does.
-
1
Scheduling alone — $3.25 a person
The Essential plan: scheduling, communication, requests, reporting. No time tracking. That is the price that undercuts ours, and it does not do what we do.
-
2
With time tracking — $5.50 a person
The “Time and Attendance” add-on puts $2.25 per user per month on top. That brings it to $5.50 — exactly our monthly price. Level per seat, then, except that projects are inside ours.
-
3
With hours by project — plus $59 a month
Projects and workplaces live in the “Resources” add-on, billed flat rather than per person. At five people: $86.50 a month against $27.50. At twenty: $169 against $110. The fixed part thins out with size without ever going away — we stay cheaper at every size, and by 20% or more up to around forty people (around sixty on annual billing).
Try it with your own hours.
Your first week is free and takes about a minute to set up.
Frequently asked
Their entry plan is: CAD $3.25 per user per month against $5.50. But it holds no time tracking. Add the “Time and Attendance” module at $2.25 and you are at $5.50 — exactly our price, except that hours by project or client still need the “Resources” module on top, at $59 per month flat. At five people that works out to $86.50 a month against our $27.50; at twenty, $169 against $110.
For hours by project, never: at $5.50 a seat we match their timesheet configuration, and their Resources module is added on top of that at any size. The gap narrows as you grow — 20% or more up to around forty people on monthly billing, around sixty on annual, and less than 20% beyond. If you don’t need hours by project, though, their Essential plan at $3.25 is cheaper than anything we sell.
Because that is what their comparable configuration costs — Essential plus “Time and Attendance” — and it makes the comparison one you can do yourself: the same price per seat, with projects, clients, budgets in hours, weekly approvals and expenses inside ours rather than beside it.
Yes. Agendrix Inc. has been at 234 rue Dufferin in Sherbrooke since 2015, and its product is offered in French. So on this page “built in Quebec” is not an argument: it is true of both. Their hosting location is not stated on their site, so we make no claim about it.
No, and it is not planned. Puuunch records hours after they are worked; it tells nobody when to turn up. If you need to build shift schedules, Agendrix does that work and we do not.
No, on any plan, and there is no setting that turns it on. A time entry holds a duration, a project and a note. Agendrix authenticates a punch “using their PIN, photo, location” — which is ordinary for a shift punch clock, and exactly the sort of thing a project timesheet has no business asking for.
Not automatically: Puuunch’s importer reads a Harvest export, not an Agendrix one. Write to us if that is what is stopping you — we won’t add an importer before we have a real file to read.
