Puuunch

For teams

The timesheet your team actually fills in.

Your team has to fill in their hours and you have to approve them. Puuunch makes the week simple enough that everyone actually does it — and locks it once submitted.

The week, from Monday to approved

  1. 1

    Everyone fills their week

One week per screen. Duration, project, note — three fields, nothing to learn.

  2. 2

    The week gets submitted

When it’s complete, they send it — and the week locks right away. What you review can’t change underneath you.

  3. 3

    You approve or decline

A decline makes the week editable again: they see it was declined, fix it and resubmit.

Three roles, not a matrix

Everyone logs their time and submits their week, whatever their role. What changes between roles is what you can manage — nothing to tick, nothing to document for a new hire.

Employee

Only ever sees their own hours and expenses.

  • Their time entries
  • Their expenses and receipts
  • Their own totals, nobody else’s

Admin

Runs the organisation day to day.

  • Projects, clients and budgets
  • Invitations and archiving
  • Approving weeks
  • Reports for the whole team
  • The team dashboard

Owner

Exactly one per organisation.

  • Billing and seats
  • Transferring ownership
  • Deleting the organisation

Menu bar app

Coming soon

Your team won’t even have to open Puuunch

A timesheet gets filled in to the extent that it asks little. From the Mac menu bar, starting the clock or logging an entry takes seconds — no window to switch to, nobody’s focus broken.

  • Start and stop the clock from the menu bar.
  • Today’s total, visible at a glance.
  • The browser stays there for whoever prefers it — nothing is mandatory.

Quebec

Built here, hosted here

Puuunch is built in Quebec, and your data — your team’s hours, their expenses, their personal information — is hosted on infrastructure in Canada. As an employer, that is a question you need to be able to answer.

  • Hosted in Canada

The application and the database live on AWS infrastructure located in Canada.

  • Built around Law 25

An incident register, a data processing agreement, and self-serve access and portability rights.

  • Processors are named

The ones handling data outside Quebec — payment, email, Google sign-in — are listed in the privacy policy. No grey area.

One seat per active person

No tiers, no minimum, no “contact us” above ten people. You pay for the number of people with access, and that changes when your team changes.

  • Add someone: the seat shows up on the next invoice.
  • Archive someone: the seat frees up, their history stays.
  • No setup fee, no mandatory annual commitment.

A team of five

$27.50 CAD / month

5 people × $5.50 CAD

Someone leaves? Archive them and you’re at $22. Billed annually, the same team is $23.33 a month.

Frequently asked

You archive them. Their seat frees up on the next invoice, they can no longer sign in, and their whole history — hours, expenses, approved weeks — stays intact in your reports.

No. Approval is final: the week stays locked, for everyone. That’s the point — an approved total doesn’t change afterwards. Decline the week before approving if something looked wrong.

Up to five, for seven days, no credit card. Enough to run one real week cycle with a real team.

No. Team reports are limited to admins and the owner; an employee only ever sees their own hours.

Nothing blocks. The dashboard lists everyone with their last eight complete weeks, the furthest behind first: one missed week shows, and a habit shows more clearly still. Puuunch sends no automatic nags — chasing people stays a human conversation.
